Im So EXCITED and I Just Cant Hide It....

New Blog Design

Hello, I am working on redesign of my blog. I needed a change.
Bear with me, as HTML editing is not my forte. If you like this design, I got it from Sweet Shop Designs, Blog in a Box designs by Zoe Pearns. Check out the site for more awesome blog layouts. Warning: you download the elements, but must put them into blogger yourself....very time consuming!!! Hope to have this functional again real soon.

Here is another card I made for the So Sketchy blog. Ally has such awesome sketches on her site. I love the sketch for this card, and went completely out-of-the-box on it, using the ferris wheel stamp as my circle image, the flowers as my heart image and I scored 2 lines down the middle of the card as the long rectangular piece. I love that Ally lets me stretch the creative elements on these sketches. This was alot of fun to create.

I also used a Kaliedacolor (Calypso) ink pad (I'm not even sure if these are on the market anymore, sorry) on the ferris wheel, which I have not used in a while. I have been letting my daughter "play" with those ink pads, and she used the ferris wheel stamp, and it looked soooooo cool, so I had to give it a try. I also used shimmerz paint on the outlines of the ferris wheel, for added sparkle. I added a siver pearl to the middle of the wheel.

Ok, so you are probably wondering where the awesome stamps come from.....they are from the exclusive UNITY Stamp Co kit called 100% Happy. You can ONLY get this kit from your local stamp store (LSS), if they carry Unity Stamps. Since northern NJ does not really have a LSS that carries Unity, I went on a search for an online store and found Paper Maniac. Patti, the owner, is super sweet, friendly and helpful, and will get your package out to you so fast, you don't even have to wait!!! Perfect

Here is another fun card I created from one of Ally's sketches, for the So Sketchy blog. I LOVE the starry images that she put on the sketch, and I knew I had the perfect stamp for this card. The star stamp comes from the Unity Stamp Co January 09 Kit of the Month. The sentiment "perfect" comes from the Unity Stamp Co June 09 Kit of the Month. The card sketch is for a rectangle, and the size I made this card is 4.25X8.5 inch.

Ally created an awesome card sketch for this week on the So Sketchy blog. I really like how it is different from any other sketch I have ever seen and truly stretches the imagination. I also had fun using the Unity Stamp Co June Kit of the Month for this project. I also used papers supplied by The Paper Passion, which was So Sketchy's sponsor this month.

A Miracle

Here is the first card for my new term on the SO Sketchy design team!! I really liked this sketch Ally gave us, its really fun and enabled me to "create out of the box." Check out the quote on this card: "Everyday holds the possibility of a miracle." Well, this is as true as any quote can get, and we expereinced it yesterday firsthand.
