You are a Dear Friend, My FWF!!

It another fun Friday Friends with Flair day. Start at the Unity BLOG for the list of awesome chicks who are sharing their art today. Be sure to leave some love along the way, because someone has the hidden flair blinkie for your chance to win a grab bag of 25 random Unity stamps!! How cool is that??

I made this card following the DTGD10 challenges, and this challenge was a sketch brought to us by Kim Teasdale. Its such a fun sketch, if you have the time, come play along in the challenges with us!

This card uses some new Papertrey Ink Harvest Gold stitched ribbon and cardstock. (I LOVE this color- its right up there with Hawaiian Shores and Chartreuse) The pattern papers are from October Afternoon Fly a Kite and Basic Grey Lemonade collections. I used Ippity Stamps- Now and Always, and layered that big flower with different pattern papers. (That has now become a favorite past time of mine-LOL) The SU Top Note die came in handy for the middle of the card. The sentiment comes from the Flourishes stamp set- Gerbera Daisy. The buttons are PTI Vintage Buttons.

Thanks so much for stopping by, have a fabulous Friday and a wonderful weekend!!

IPPITY Floral Thank You

Happy Hippity Hoppity Monday!! Its time for another fabulous and inspiring Ippity Stamps blog hop!

Here is a super-simple thank you card I made using some new release Ippity stamps. The stamp set is called: Now and Always (and I sell it right here on my blog). The sentiments come from the Papertrey Ink stamp set called: Thank You inside and out.

I really liked making the layered flowers on this card. Can you tell?? I think this large flower is the only Ippity stamp I have used from the latest release. (I may have to change that soon, but for now...here is another flower card. lol.) I used two small sheets of pattern paper: from October Afternoon- Thrift Shop and Fly a Kite. Then stamped the large flower 3 times on each sheet of pattern paper. I then cut out the layers and rearranged them, adhering with dimensionals, and topped with a coordinating button, from PTI. The leaves are stamped on white cardstock and colored with Copic markers.
Here is the inside of the card as well.

{Thank You}
Cardstock: Papertrey Ink- White.
Pattern Paper: October Afternoon- Fly a Kite, Thrift Shop.
Stamps: Ippity- Now & Always. Papertrey Ink- Thank You inside and out.
Ink: Memento.
Accessories: Papertrey Ink buttons. Jillibean Soup twine. Copic markers.

Wedding Wishes

Today is the day!! My baby brother is getting married today, to a beautiful, kind, caring woman! I couldn't be more happy. The wedding is finally here, after what seemed like ages away, has slowly crept up, and poof, its here! So, here is a special card I made for them to celebrate their special day.
Teal is their wedding color, so I incorporated it into the card as much as I could. And, of course, I just had to use those big Ippity flowers from the Now and Always kit. :-)
See the texture on the teal layer? That is made with the Moroccan Motifs impression plate from Papertrey Ink. (I LOVE LOVE LOVE their impression plates!!) The pattern papers are from Echo Park- Summertime collection. (Ummm, yeah, I LOVE LOVE LOVE those papers, too)
Here is a close up of the flower layers. I used a touch of glitter glue on the swirlies on the bottom layer. It need some sparkle, people! :-) The button is a Hawaiian Shores vintage button from PTI. The leaves are stamped in black Memento ink on PTI Simply Chartreuse cardstock and cut out.
The sentiment, "On Your Wedding Day," is from the Papertrey Ink kit called Year of Flowers: Roses, and is stamped in Dandelion Memento ink. I stamped it inside a Fillable Frames 4 stamp, then cut out using the Fillable Frames 4 die. The ribbon is Hawaiian Shores bitty dot satin from Papertrey Ink.
I also had to deocrate the inside of the card, which you can see, peeking through on this photo. Its basically just another large Ippity flower layered up.

{On Your Wedding Day}
Cardstock: PTI White, Hawaiian Shores, Chartreuse.
Pattern Paper: Echo Park- Summertime.
Stamps: Ippity- Now & Always. PTI- Year of Flowers-Roses, Fillable Frames 4.
Ink: Memento.
Accessories: PTI- Hawaiian Shores ribbon, Moroccan Motifs impression plate, Hawaiian Shores button, foam tape.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and HAPPY 4th of July!! Hope you have a wonderful day!!

Ippity Hippity Hoppity {Friend}

Happy IPPITY Monday!! It's time for another Ippity Hippity Hop. I just love this big flower from the Ippity Now and Always stamp set. It is so fun to cut out and layer with different kinds of pattern papers. LOVE it! For these flowers, I used Basic Grey Lemonade papers.

I ran the pink card front (from core'dinations Berry Reds pack) through my cuttlebug with the Papertrey Ink Sunshine Impression plate. I just loooooooove that impression plate, I have used it on ALOT of cards lately.

The sentiment is stamped on a Spellbinders Labels 10 die cut. I stamped angel pink flowers from Papertrey Ink's Flutterby Friend on the background of the die cut, then stamped the word, Friend in black ink right on top of the pattern. I attached it to some pink satin ribbon, and added a double-bow for fun!!

Please check out the Ippity Blog for the list of talented ladies who will be sharing their art with you today! You will be totally inspired. :-)

Have a FABULOUS day, friends!!

It's Just Another {IPPITY} Monday

It's just another {Ippity} Monday....doesn't that sound so much better than Manic Monday?? I am really starting to like Mondays now, of course its probably only because I get to spend it with such lovey, talented friends, like YOU!
I'll be honest, I had a hard time making a card this week. I had all sorts of ideas running through my head, and I even ended up throwing my first card away- after showing it to hubby, and he just went, "Oh, thats uhhhhh, cute??" Hahaha- CUTE?? No, it was not cute. Into the garbage it went. So, I decided to go CAS (clean and simple) again this week. It works for me.
I was so happy to be able to use the Ippity kit- Life's Little Moments on this card. I originally thought I would just use this kit on my scrapbooking pages- but its so versatile, you can pretty much use it on any project. YAY!!
I used Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch #51, which inspired my card layout. You have to check out the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenges, they are so much fun to play along with!!
Supplies: Stamps: Ippity- Life's Little Moments. Papers: SU: Kraft, Naturals Ivory and Sassafrass- Sunshine Lollipops DSP. Ink: Vivid-Brick. Accessories: Checked Ribbon- Michaels, Flower- Prima, Dew Drops- Robins Nest, and Button- Foof-a-la.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Don't forget to check out all the other talented ladies, who are showcasing some awesome Ippity inspiration for you today.
AND, I will be back later to post the winner of the SMC Image- Jayden, Free Hearts, used in Friday's post, below. There's still time to leave a comment. Hooray!

Me & My House...

Here is a card I made for SCS Color Challenge #249, which was to use the colors: Saffron, Mellow Moss and Rose Red. I also used one of my favorite Ippity stamp kits, called, Devoted. I tried to work this week's sketch challenge into this card too, but totally messed it up. So, instead, I just made the center blocks longer, added two more and eliminated the center strip. It works for me!! LOL.

Here is a peek at the inside of the card:

Supplies: Stamps: Ippity- Devoted. Papers: Prism- Yellow, Herbal Garden and Rose, Basic Grey- Urban Prairie designer paper. Ink: Memento- Cantaloupe and Black. Accessories: Pink dotted ribbon from Michaels, and Copics: C3, YR31, R22, YG03.

{Ippity} Stamps- Devoted

Hello, here is another {Ippity} card I made, this time using the kit called Devoted. I really like this set, as it has alot of my favorite scripture quotes, and there is also a darling little butterfly, a house, and heart stamps as well.
I used SCS Color Challenge #245, which was to incorporate Artichoke, Real Red and Chocolate Chip on the card. The Cosmo Cricket Early Bird designer papers go really well with this color combo, and are used here too! I also included the SCS Technique Challenge #247, which was to "go outside the box." That's where you will see my popped-up hearts, which fall just outside the laters of the card. This is a really FUN technique.
Thanks for stopping by.
