Creatively Yours is looking for Guest Designers!!!

Creatively Yours: Sketches by Noella is a sketch blog rich in inspiration for scrapbookers and card-makers alike, and is seeking two talented Guest Designers for the month of November.
The site is running a two-step contest to help find these two Designers.

Creatively Yours Sketch 16

Here is the card I desinged for Creatively Yours, for sketch 16. Noella keeps giving out awesome sketches each week! If your looking for a new twist on things, check out her fun site! I just loved this sketch and all the circles and elements it combined, and for the fact that is was a tall card! My card is 3.5" X 7" Supplies: Paper: American Crafts Black, PTI White, Lemon Tart, American Crafts DSP, and SU Old Olive. Ink: Black Versafine, and Copics for coloring. Stamps: Verve: Abundant Blessings, and Beautiful You. Accessories: PTI Swiss Dots Ribbon Lemon Tart, Rhinestones, and Sponging. The quote on this card is one of my favorites, it reads: "If you live to be 100, I hope I live to be 100 minus one day so I NEVER have to live without you." Creatively Yours

Here is a card that I designed for Creatively Yours. Check out Noella's Card sketch for this week, it's pretty neat. When I first looked at the sketch, I had a lot of trouble deciding what I was going to do for this card, and I went back and forth many times. I finally settled on this design. I put my August Kit of the Month (Remember Happiness) from Unity to work for this card. Card Recipe: Paper: PTI White, American Crafts DSP. Stamps: Unity KOTM August: Remember Happiness. Ink: SU Night of Navy, Chocolate Chip and Rose Red. Accessories: Rhinestones, dimensionals, Copics for coloring and sponging. Spooky Greetings....Already??

Yep....getting in the mood for Halloween already. I CANT help it....it's been a very long summer, but that is to be expected when you work in parks, I am sooooo ready for fall! I created this card for Creatively Yours, hop on over to the site to get this weeks sketch! Its a fun one!!

I had alot of fun making this card, first because it took my mind off summer and second, because I was able to ink up this adorable stamp set. Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping!!

First Creatively Yours Sketch

Hello- here is a card that I designed for Creatively Yours. The sketch can be found here. It was a real fun sketch to complete! The card uses a Close to Cocoa base layer, with Basic Grey Sugared DSP for the pink layer and the paisley layer. One circle is Old Olive and the smaller circle is Basic Grey DSP outlined with a white souffle pen. I used Unity's July stamp kit of the month, called "its about the little things..." I used alot of rhinestones on this one, but the butterfly so calls for it!! There is lots of room to decorate on this beauty. The sentiment, Friend, is also from the same Unity stamp set. I used white ric-rac ribbon by Basic Grey and hand dyed some lace, by sponging it with pink chalk ink. Thanks for looking, and Happy Stamping!!

Wish Big

Alright......you have to check out Creatively Yours if you {LOVE} challenges and sketches as much as I do. Noella posts both card and layout sketches weekly for your creative enjoyment. This card was created from a sketch she posted on July 27, and it was so much fun to make. As you can see I went a little bling crazy on this one. I am going to send this card to a special friend for her birthday, which is coming up real soon. If you look closely, the Euphoria Designer paper by Basic Grey matches the Wish stamp set from Unity perfectly! AND....to top it off this Euphoria paper matches SU Pomegranate and Eggplant awesomely.
