Welcome Little One

Here is a sweet baby girl card that I made for a friend at work, who just welcomed his 1st grandchild. I LOVE making baby cards, and this is the first one I have made in a while. I used a Kraft card base with Echo Park: Springtime papers.  I stamped the image and sentiment (from Taylored Expressions: Hangin' Out stamp set) onto a vanilla Spellbinders: Lattice Rectangle die cut. I colored the image with Copic markers and added glittery accents with Stickles on the flowers.  I then cut felt flowers using the PTI flower fusion dies, and added rhinestones to the centers.

Hi There

Hi There, Paper Maniacs! Here's a fun card made using the new Basic Grey- Hello Luscious papers, along with Websters Pages Spring Market papers and Hero Arts stamps. I stamped the large house stamp onto the Spring Market papers two times: once on the cream colored sheet and once on the red polka dotted sheet. I cut the roof off the red sheet and adhered it to the house. I colored all the accents on the house with Copic markers. The Hello Luscious paper is the hills- I liked how this pattern resembled rolling hills, so I cut out a strip, rounding the hills, and adhered to the bottom of the white card base. Then, I adhered the house. I then stippled blue ink around all the leftover white space, to resemble the sky. The potted plant images also come from the Hero Arts stamp set. Thanks for stopping by today. There is just a few more days left of the amazing April sale, so be sure to check it out.

I wish all of you a wonderful holiday weekend.

HB 2 U

Hey Paper Maniac peeeeps, how are you all doing on this wonderful Thursday?? I have a really easy card to share with you today- its a white cardstock base, which I stamped the images right onto. The images are Kanban Stamps- Fairy Cakes, and colored with copics. I accented a few areas with stickles, and the glittery strips are made with double-sided tape and just press the glitter of choice right into the strip.

Hope you have a great day!!

Birthday Wishes

Hello Paper Maniacs and Happy Saturday.  Hope you all had a great week.  All my lovies have been struggling with another round of sickness this week- and I'm blaming this terrible winter.  We had a small taste of spring last week, and poof, its gone and now its freezing again.  So, in honor of spring, I wanted to make a bright, floral card.  I used the awesome new Memory Box Brioche papers and a sentiment from Kanban Stamps Love Hearts set.  The lace is new Hero Arts adhesive lace found in the store.  I made the floral medallion, and Paper Maniac will be sharing that tutorial with you real soon.  Enjoy your weekend and stay warm and healthy.

Vintage Style

Happy Saturday Paper Maniac peeeeps.  Have you been enjoying our Vintage Week on the Paper Maniac Blog?? If you haven't stopped by yet, please check out all the awesome projects when you have some time, they are so inspiring!

Now, Vintage is not necessarily my style, so this week's assignment was a bit challenging for me. However, once I found my Echo Park "Be Mine" paper pack, I was having some good ideas.  This paper collection is full of vintage-y goodness!!  I paired the paper with the Unity Stamp Co stamp kit called Life Becomming (by Melody Ross).  Then, I just distressed the edges of the papers with a distressing tool and some vintage inks and sewed them onto the card front, which is Memory Box (Begonia).  I have become addicted to Memory Box papers for card bases.  The papers are colored on one side and white on the other!! How cool is that??

Well, I hope you have a great weekend!

Happy Saturday Paper Maniac peeeeeps!!  Here is a really easy card to make using Echo Park Wintertime paper pack and matching stickers.  This hot cocoa cup called my name as soon as I saw it.  I have been "digging" hot cocoa this winter, drinking plenty of it!! Hope you are all staying warm too.

Have a great weekend. :-)

Snowy Birthday Wishes

1-1-11.....Hello Everyone, I hope you are having a fabulous NEW YEAR! Here's a card using the super cute Warm Winter Wishes stamp set by Flourishes. I really enjoy using these stamps, first, the snowman is AAAAAAdorable, next, the sentiments are terrific for all winter long, and last, the snowflakes of varying shapes and sizes make awesome backgrounds!

I used a Kraft cardstock base, and stamped snowflakes in white and navy ink creating a background. Then I stamped the snowman onto a white Spellbinders oval die cut and colored it with Copic markers, then layered with a navy oval die cut. Last, I cut a thin strip of navy cardstock to stamp the birthday sentiment on, and then cut the corners on each side to resemble ribbon. I placed a blue candy dot on each end of the "ribbon."

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great weekend.

Winter

Hello Paper Maniac peeeeeeps!! Hope you all had a wonderful, blessed holiday with your family, friends and loved ones. This card is quite fitting for me today, as we woke up to almost 2 feet of snow in NJ!!  Winter is surely here.

I made this card using the Echo Park Wintertime kit.  The trees and scenery is from the sticker sheet that is included in the package.  The letters are also from the Wintertime paper pack. I just measured the scenery to fit the cardfront, adhered and that's it, you have a card.  soooooo easy! The ribbon is scrap from my stash and the snowman comes from a PTI set.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Let it Snow

Happy Saturday Paper Maniacs- posting late today, my apologies! Hope everyone is having a wonderful Holiday season so far.  Its been crazy cold here in NJ this week, however no snow as of yet, so, here is my wishful thinking card- "Let it Snow"  :-)

I used the awesome Echo Park winter pattern paper (Everyone Loves Christmas) for the background.  I used the American Crafts (autumn) seasonal assortment pack for the card base and green layer on the front and inside of the card. I used copics to color the stamped image, and oldie, but goodie from Stampin Up.  I added some sparkle to the letters using distress stickles.  The stamped image is cut with Spellbinders Label 16 (i LOVE this label, and use it ALOT).  I also used some buttons and rhinestones to jazz up the card front a bit.

Here is a picture of the inside of the card:
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!

You are SO Wise

Hello Paper Maniacs, Happy Saturday! I am happy to show you this card today, made with super-awesome, unique images from Northwoods Stamps.  Have you seen that all Northwoods Stamps are marked down 25% in the Paper Maniac store until October 31st?? Eeeeep!!

This card was pretty easy to create. I used a Neenah white cardstock base, and navy layers. I used Spellbinders classic rectangles for the focal image and layer. The Northwoods image is stamped in Memento Black ink and then colored with copics. The night sky and the moon were sponged with 3 different shades of Memento ink: Lulu Lavendar, Cantaloupe and Tangelo. My daughter wanted me to color the tree's eyes blue (not sure if it shows on the photo). :-)
Here is a close-up if the cololring:
