Believe with All your Heart

I love when Ally gives me a rectangular sketch to work with for the So Sketchy Blog. I never keep the same size when creating a rectangular card, I like to switch it up each time, and that is why they are so much fun!! The finished size of this card is 3.5X7" I used another snowflake medallion for this project, check out the tutorial on SCS, its such a neat addition to any project!!
Here is the inside of my card.
Supplies: Stamps: Unity Stamp Co- November STORE Kit (outside sentiment) and Bright and Merry Winter Wishes (inside sentiment). Papers: Prism- Tawny light, Nautical Blue and Herbal Garden, Imaginisce- Polar Expressions DSP. Ink: Memento. Accessories: White Gel Pen (Signo), Circle Punch, Create-A-Flake Nesties, MS Glitters, Glossy Accents, Oval Punch, Ribbon from Walmart, Dimensionals and Blue SU Button.

Warms My Heart

Here's a card I made usings Ally's fabulous sketch, found over at So Sketchy. I love all the elements she included on this card, a grid background, some circles and small embellishments. Did you see how I did my grid background?? I scored it, using my Scor-Pal. :-) My card is a 5.5X5.5" square, you can make yours any size you want! My snowman is paper-pieced.

PM Inspirations: Holiday Decor- Mug Charms

Here is another sample of Holiday Ornaments/Decor items you can make, using wonderful suplies found in the Paper Maniac Store. Today, I decided to make "Mug Charms." Since the holidays are upon us, so are the holiday parties. Have you ever had a time when you attended a gathering and you put your mug (or wine glass) down, and after a bit of time socializing, you forget which mug is yours?? These cute charms are so easy to make, and will help out with that kind of situation. (Simply label the backs of the charms with your guests names.)
Here they are hanging on the mugs!! I used the adorable cocoa mug stamp from Imaginisce, found right in the Paper Maniac store. You can even make wine glass charms too, all you need is a bag of plain hoops (found at Walmart or any craft store in the jewelery section) and some small beads to place on the sides of the charm, for added decoration or a burst of color. I colored the stamped image with my Copics and used a little Taffy smooch on the inside of the hearts for some shimmer. Label the back of the charms with your guests' names.
Happy Holidays!!

Snowflake Medallion Ornament

Today, our Paper Maniac focus is Ornaments and Decor for the holidays, using Nestabilities dies. There are TONS of them in stock in the Paper Maniac Store. I am showcasing an ornament I made using the Nestabilities Create-a-Flake dies. I LOVE these dies, they are sooooo versatile- you can create so much with them- cards, ornaments, embellishments and more!
I used the SCS Snowflake Medallion tutorial for my project, and then just turned the medallion into an ornament, instead of an embellishment for a card. I LOVE how sparkly it is- can you imagine your tree decorated with tons of sparkly snowflakes?? Unfortunately, when I got home yesterday afternoon, it was dark (so much for daylight savings time), so I could not place this on a tree branch, but I hope you can see how sparkly it is against the black paper.
Join in the Holiday crafting fun- visit the Paper Maniac blog every day in November for some really neat holiday projects and inspiration!!

Holiday Cutie

This little holiday cutie is one of my FAV new digi-images from Pink Cat Studio. Its Itty Bitty Betty on her Candy Cane Swing!! Isn't she adorable??? This is a close-up of all the little glittery details I gave her. Sparkly hair, swing chains and bows. The pattern paper, from Imaginisce-Polar Expressions is even glittered too!! The big snowflake buttons are from Walmart. AND, of course I colored this little darling with my Copic markers. I am having so much fun experimenting with colors and blending techniques with these markers!!

Here is the inside of the card, that I just had to decorate. I find that I **need** to do this with all of my cards lately. If its just blank inside, its just not done for me. LOL. The sentiment on the inside comes from the Unity Stamp Co Bright and Merry Winter Wishes set.
Here are the Copic markers that I used.

Lily Lollipops

Pink Cat Studio has THE MOST ADORABLE digi stamps!! I had so much fun coloring in little Lily here, while giving thoughts to the upcoming holiday season. Eeeeek, I can't believe I just said that- I am usually soooooo last-minute when it comes to the holidays. Basically because I am usually in denial this time of year. Denial that the year has come and gone so quickly, denial of the weather changing, and denial of having to shop and prepare!! LOL.
Here is the inside of my card, I used a Pink Cat Studio digi sentiment as well. Be sure to check out their website, they release new digis every Thursday!! I literally **just** got into digi-stamps and I am sooooo loving them already!!
AND, here are my Copics used for coloring this adorable image!! Coloring is very therapeutic after working all day, I feel so relaxed now!! LOL.

Stuck on You

Ally gave us a really cool sketch to work with today!! I really liked the simplicity of it, and wanted to keep it simple on the card as well, so this is what I came up with. Its a plain, white, scalloped circle card, sponged on the edges with Memento Angel Pink ink. Then added the decorative elements. The pompom ribbon was provided in our sponsor kit this month, from Let's Capture Our Memories.

Supplies used: Stamps: Unity Stamp Co- October STORE Kit of the Month (Wonderful You). Papers: The Paper Co- White scalloped Circle card. Ink: Memento. Accessories: Pompom ribbon from Let's Capture our Memories, and Hero Arts Pink Pearls. I used the "Rock-n-Roll" technique on the stamped images.

PM Inspirations: Crafting with Kids

This week's theme at Paper Maniac is Crafting with Kids. Patti has a whole department on the store dedicated to crafting with kiddos!! My daughter Amanda and I used the Creative Hands Bubble Frame Ornament Kit for our project today. I must say that she was **less than cooperative** with this project. But, I guess at 4 yrs old, she is **entitled** to a sassy moment here and there!! It also didn't help that she got up at 6am and just kept going and going and going.....I was ready to drop when we started this too!! Anyway, check out the Paper Maniac blog for more inspiring projects from the Design Team. Also, check out the Paper Maniac Store for these awesome kits, there are several different kinds, and they are super easy for kids to make, and all the supplies you need are right in the kit!! LOVE IT!!!!

PM Inspirations: Black & White

Today, at Paper Maniac, we are trying to inspire you with Black and White cards, with just a small pop of color. This is by far one of my most favorite color schemes because, whatever color you choose, it always looks good with Black and White!!! I also had a special occasion to make this card- our friend got married yesterday!!

This is the inside of the card. Yes, I just haaaaaad to decorate the inside, the plain white just wasn't doing it for me! Here I used the papers from the Paper Maniac Black and White card kit, (can you see the flower centers- they are colored in with shimmery SMOOCH, new to the PM Store, and oh soooooo awesome) and they are on sale- if you subscribe to the PM newsletter, the coupon code is there. I also used the new Martha Stewart Loops punch. I LOVE that punch!! The sentiment comes from the Lizzie Anne Designs stamp set called Gettin Hitched.

And, this is just a close up of the front of the card to show the SMOOCH details on there as well. The red paper base is actually the Bindakote glossy paper. The pattern papers are from the PM Black and White Card Kit, and again I filled in the flower centers with SMOOCH. I also colored the church (from the Unity Stamp Co- October Kit of the Month) with Copics and SMOOCH. Can you see how shimmery and pearly it is?? I LOVE SMOOCH!! The panel is cut from the Mega Curved Rectangles Nesties die, and then I sponged the edges with Ladybug Memento Ink. I was inspired by SCS Sketch #247 for my card layout.
Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to check out the Paper Maniac Blog for more inspiration from the design team. Also, visit the Paper Maniac store and sign up for the store newsletter so you can get that valuable SMOOCH coupon code!! :-)
