It's Just Another {IPPITY} Monday

It's just another {Ippity} Monday....doesn't that sound so much better than Manic Monday?? I am really starting to like Mondays now, of course its probably only because I get to spend it with such lovey, talented friends, like YOU!
I'll be honest, I had a hard time making a card this week. I had all sorts of ideas running through my head, and I even ended up throwing my first card away- after showing it to hubby, and he just went, "Oh, thats uhhhhh, cute??" Hahaha- CUTE?? No, it was not cute. Into the garbage it went. So, I decided to go CAS (clean and simple) again this week. It works for me.
I was so happy to be able to use the Ippity kit- Life's Little Moments on this card. I originally thought I would just use this kit on my scrapbooking pages- but its so versatile, you can pretty much use it on any project. YAY!!
I used Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch #51, which inspired my card layout. You have to check out the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenges, they are so much fun to play along with!!
Supplies: Stamps: Ippity- Life's Little Moments. Papers: SU: Kraft, Naturals Ivory and Sassafrass- Sunshine Lollipops DSP. Ink: Vivid-Brick. Accessories: Checked Ribbon- Michaels, Flower- Prima, Dew Drops- Robins Nest, and Button- Foof-a-la.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Don't forget to check out all the other talented ladies, who are showcasing some awesome Ippity inspiration for you today.
AND, I will be back later to post the winner of the SMC Image- Jayden, Free Hearts, used in Friday's post, below. There's still time to leave a comment. Hooray!

A Triple Challenge Card

Yep- I got three challenges into one card!! Can you believe it?? I did this weeks Splitcoast Sketch Challenge 262, Color Challenge 252 and Ways to Use it Challenge 251 for a super fun card. AND, I also just noticed....I do not use any pattern papers on this card either. Say Whaaaaaa? How does that happen?? I thought something was missing!!

The color challenge was to use Teal, Hunter and Celery, and you could add pink, but it could not be cardstock. It was a challenge for me to find these colors in my stash, first of all, since they are not ones I normally use. (I actually had to go to an older rich regals multipak- hahaha)

The Ways to Use it challenge was to find ways to use TIME as part of the theme for our projects. You can create a layout, altered project, or a card- incorporate a clock face image, a calendar, a countdown...pretty much anything that will work with the theme of time. When I saw this challenge, I knew I had the most adorable clock stamp from Unity Stamp Co's December KOM, that I just had to use for this challenge.

Supplies: Stamps: Unity Stamp Co- December 09 KOM "Delightful Moments." Papers: SU-Hunter, Teal, Celery and Naturals Ivory. Ink: Memento. Accessories: Pink satin ribbon, dimensionals, Copic Y00, and Smooch Paint.

Thanks for stopping by, have a FABULOUS day!

PM Inspiration- Lilac Avenue

Happy Sunday!! Anyone who knows me, knows that I am a purple maniac. I LOVE all things purple, and yet, I find that its not a regular color that I use when crafting!! When I saw these Lilac Avenue papers at the Paper Maniac Store, I almost fell out of my seat. I just haaaaad to have them! The paper pad has several different designs, and some of the papers even have flocking, foil and glitter. It also comes with a few pages of die-cuts too! The possibilities are endless.
I used SCS Sketch #259 as the inspiration for my card layout. I also did not stamp on this card. Can you believe it? Those adorable images are the Lilac Avenue rub-ons, that match the papers. It was alot of fun to try something new on this card. Other papers used include: Bazzil Textured, Gina K- Luxury white. The plum pearls are also from Paper Maniac.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Enjoy your Sunday, we will be spending the day digging out from a huge snowstorm that just passed through. Stop by the Paper Maniac blog for added inspirational projects!!
